Utility Sites Search Console

Privacy policy

Purpose and access

Utility Sites Search Console is a private tool for viewing Google Search Console information relating to websites the operator is authorised to access. It uses Google's OAuth authorisation process and requests only the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly scope.

Information accessed

With authorisation, the tool may access the list of Search Console properties and associated search performance information, including search queries, pages, countries, devices, clicks, impressions, click-through rates and average positions, where available through the Google Search Console API.

Use of information

Information is used to review website search performance, troubleshoot indexing or visibility issues, and prepare reports for the operator. The integration is not intended to sell Search Console information or use it for advertising.

Authentication and storage

Google handles sign-in and consent. The integration uses access credentials issued through OAuth to request authorised information. The integration is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure. OAuth token storage is used to maintain authorised access. Search Console results may be displayed in the operator's connected ChatGPT environment and may be included in reports or conversation history according to the settings of that environment.

Disclosure

Information is transmitted to Google to make authorised API requests and processed by the infrastructure required to operate the integration. When the operator invokes the integration through ChatGPT, returned information is provided to that service to fulfil the request. The operator does not offer this tool as a public data-sharing service.

Revoking access

Google account access can be revoked through the Google Account third-party connections settings. Revocation prevents new authorised requests, although existing reports or conversation content may remain in the services where they were created.

Questions
